Benefits and use cases

Switch your keyboard, mouse and monitors using the USB switch you already have.

Keep your existing devices

Keep using your USB switch, monitors and video cables. KVMFlow switches monitor inputs in software, so you do not need to replace them with a full KVM for this purpose.

Fewer monitor-menu trips

After you save the input mappings, pressing the USB switch sends the corresponding input values to the configured monitors. You do not need to open each monitor’s OSD menu every time.

Use the same physical button

Keep using the physical switch while the app listens in the background. Closing the window leaves an entry in the Mac menu bar or Windows system tray.

Use Mac and Windows together

Both platforms use the same configuration approach: record the local input values, then enter the other computer’s values. Adjust switching timing and launch at login in Settings.

What can affect switching?

Monitors need DDC/CI support. The app may not be able to control a monitor if the computer is asleep, that monitor is disabled, or some adapters are used.

A “Switch command sent” message does not confirm that the display is lit. If the screen stays black, open the monitor menu and check the input source.
